The history of the plant begins in 1961.The fast development of automobile and agricultural industry required new specialized plants to produce units and parts.
As a result, 40 years ago a plant was built in Kremenchug to manufacture wheels for passenger cars, trucks, tractors and agricultural machines.
The years went. The plant became larger, new technologies and wheel designs were developed.
1965 Production of wheels for heavy tractors "Kirowets" started.
1966 Production of wheels for trucks "ZIL" and for passenger cars "ZAZ" started.
1967 For the first time in the world practice the automatic lines for assembly and welding tractor wheels were developed. Production of wheels, types 8,5 х 20, 4,5 Е х 16 begins.
1972 The first automatic disc line for rear tractor wheels was put into operation.
1974 Production of DW24 x 26 wheels started.
1976 Intensive development of own tool and stamping tool production started.
1988 Production of wheels for heavy combine harvesters "Don" started.
1993 The line for passenger car wheels was put into operation.
1994 Joint Stock Company 'Kremenchug Wheel Plant' was organized.
1995 The foreign trade representation "Trans Wheels and Tires" (Nyiregyhasa-Rozsret, Hungary) was founded.
1996 Production of wheels for passenger cars "ZAZ", "UAZ-3160" and for trucks of small load-carrying capacity "ZIL", "Gazel" ("Iveco") and others is increased.
1998 The equipment for painting of truck wheels with powder polyester paints produced by the company "Pulver Kimya", Turkey, was put into operation.
1999 Production of new wheel types for agricultural machines DDW18Lx42, DW20 Ax26, DW20 Ax38, DW23Ax38 was started.
2000 An equipment for coating of wheels for trucks and agricultural machines with powder polyester paints was put into operation.
2001 Quality assurance system was certified in accordance with International Standards ISO 9001-04. UkrSEPRO and TÜV CERT issued appropriate quality assurance system certificates.
2002 The enterprise became a Full Member of European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) and of Association of European Wheel Manufacrurers (EUWA).
2003 A painting line for coating of wheels for cars and trucks with polyester paints "metalic" was put into operation.
2003 UkrSEPRO and TÜV CERT issued quality assurance system certificates in accordance with requirements of standards ISO 9001-2000.
