Bridgestone Europe takes full control of Bandag EMEA

Bridgestone Europe NV/SA announced today that they have assumed full control of Bandag EMEA through the purchase of all of the shares in that company from Bridgestone Americas.


The purchase was completed on December 31st.

Bandag EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) was already operationally reporting to Bridgestone Europe, and the change in ownership is another step towards the better integration of the two companies.

Providing the best packaged solutions for fleets has been the business model pursued by both companies. Commenting on the latest developments, Gerry Duffy Vice Presidеnt of Sales & Marketing at Bridgestone Europe said "We believe that by further integrating our areas of expertise we will be unrivalled as the best service providers to the transport industry in Europe".
