• Scott Johansen, national program manager, Remington Tire Distributors Inc. in Kingston, Ontario
“I believe we’ll see the same determination and passion to compete in Virginia that drives their success in the business world,” said Janice Consolacion, marketing manager for the Dunlop brand in North America. “Drivers Cup brings people together to improve and challenge their driving skills. It also provides a showcase for our tires, the same products these dealers sell at their stores. Like anything else, it’s much easier for them to sell tires that they’ve tested and driven.”
The nine retailers are joining 12 amateur drivers from across the U.S. in a grueling test of driving skills, including on-track, off-road, motocross, autocross and all-terrain-vehicle maneuvers.
Nine Dealers Face-Off in Dunlop Drivers Cup Qualifier
Nine tire dealers will take to the track and compete at Virginia International Raceway for the Dunlop Driver Cup. The race-off will be held Sept. 18-20.
