Vredestein Develops a World First Design

Vredestein , which already offers expertise in the field of all-season tires, introduced the world’s first all-season tire available with RunFlat technology, the Quatrac 3.

Vredestein, which already offers expertise in the field of all-season tires, introduced the world’s first all-season tire available with RunFlat technology, the Quatrac 3.

The tire features an asymmetrical design with a separate summer and winter section and a non-directional tread pattern. The company developed an entirely new rubber compound for the tire that ensures it can provide excellent grip and similar performance all year round, on dry and wet surfaces as well as on snow-covered roads. The compound is softer than that of a summer tire, yet harder than the soft rubber of winter tires.

The Quatrac 3 is currently available in seven sizes and two RunFlat versions in many European countries.
