Hankook previews new UHP tire in Korea

Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. gave a sneak preview of its new ultra-high performance passenger tire, the Ventus V12 Evo, during a ride-and-drive event held earlier today near its plant in Geumsan, South Korea.

The Ventus V12 Evo is designed specifically for the North American market and will be Hankook's "mainstream UHP product," according to company officials.

Hankook will formally unveil the tire later this month at the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev. Hankook officials say more details about the product will be released at that time.
