Herbert Mensching, managing director of Continental for marketing and commercial vehicle tire sales for Europe commented: “These bias truck tyres are typical for the Asian market; they are not being used in Europe. There is no intention to import these tyres into the European market.”
Conti: Casumina Tyres are for Asian Market
Continental AG has published a clarification of press coverage that suggested it had signed a five-year deal to import 170,000 truck tyres into Europe from the Casumina factory in Vietnam.
