The company has acquired a 25-acre site from the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, located in the group’s Bahadurgarh industrial area, some 30 miles west of Dehli.
Last April, Yokohama formed Yokohama India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, with an eye to building a Greenfield plant in that country.
Specific details on the new tire plant are being developed, reports said.
