New summer pattern line MP 44 Elite 3, brand Matador

A novelty for the 2009 summer season – in the segment of summer HIGH PERFORMANCE tyres for middle and upper medium range cars. Compare to its predecessor MP 42 Elite 2, the asymmetric tread pattern MP 44 Elite 3 brings improved proporties in the area of handling, safety on wet and dry surfaces, comfort and life.


The tyre MP 44 Elite 3 has been developed for middle and upper medium range cars,
where achieves short braking distances on both wet and dry roads and high grip when handling.

There will be available in 34 sizes of 15” and 16”, with a maximum width of 225 millimetres. The tyres will be approved for speeds of up to 190 km/h (118 mph), 210 km/h (131 mph), 240 km/h (149 mph), 270 km/h (168 mph).

The first sizes will be launched in January 2009.
