High performance cars require a specialised high performance winter tyre - the Avon Ice Touring ST. Available in a range of popular wide, low profile 16-inch and 17-inch sizes that complement Avon\\\'s respected CR85 winter tyre line-up, the Ice Touring ST is an outstanding performer in the wet thanks in part to the high silica content of its rubber formulation.

That abundance of silica is also responsible - together with extensive siping - for keeping the tread blocks flexible at very low winter temperatures which aids grip in the wet and traction in the snow. Wide spacing of the tread blocks also helps prevent the tread blocks clogging up with snow.

As befits a tyre designed for performance cars, the Ice Touring ST has an asymmetric tread pattern.

A run-flat version of the Ice Touring ST is currently under development and should be ready early in 2007. Prices
