Navigator - New All-Weather Tire from Debica.

Debica, Poland?s leading tire manufacturer, introduces its second generation Navigator, a new all-weather car tire. Navigator is the signature name for Debica`s all-weather tire range that has been particularly successful in its home market Poland and in other Eastern European countries.

The new Navigator is designed for drivers who would normally drive on summer tires throughout the year but require capability in winter conditions. Navigator's special tread compound and dedicated tread design provide substantially better grip during winter than summer tires. Navigator provides safe driving year-round and is therefore a good choice for price and safety conscious drivers.

Of course, during winter, driving with winter tires is the safest option. However, all-weather tires constitute an interesting compromise for cars that are driven a limited number of miles each year. This is an interesting offer also for cars, which are mainly driven in urban areas - like taxis or dispatch cars.

"The new Navigator will be highly appreciated among drivers who don't want to purchase a set of summer and a set of winter tires. This is an excellent offer for those who want a safe and a long lasting tire", said Marek Gawlik, Manager in charge of the Debica brand in Poland. "The advantages of this new design versus a summer tire can be seen especially during a mild European winter and the transitional periods in spring and autumn", explained Gawlik.

The new Navigator performs better than its predecessor on wet, snowy and icy roads. The tire gives improved protection against aquaplaning and importantly, it lasts longer: Navigator provides a nine percent better mileage than its predecessor.

The second generation Navigator has a multi-block tread profile. In combination with the high blade density this delivers increased levels of grip on slippery roads.

The aquaplaning protection is guaranteed by three wide longitudinal grooves together with numerous narrow radial grooves. They are very effective in absorbing and dispersing water. This is one of the reasons why Debica's new Navigator is 20% more resistant to aquaplaning in curves than its predecessor.

To assure good grip throughout the year in various weather conditions the tread of the new Navigator contains a special polymer mixture. It gives the rubber the elasticity that the tire needs for a safe ride in low temperatures. At the same time it provides the stability and rigidity required during summer, which gives extra protection against wear. The rounded block edges and the ?S? shaped tread lead to a lower noise level, thus increasing the ride comfort.

Отличная резина. Протектор хоршо справляется и с дорогой и с ее отсутствием, что и было основным критерием выбора. Отлично показала себя и на заднеприводной Sierra и на переднеприводной Mazda. Проскакал 4000 км - еще ездить и ездить. Доволен.

Отличная шина-правда и цена не из средненьких... балдею от езды по мокрой дороге-держит просто супер(есть с чем сравнивать)...
