Fulda is sponsoring a 1991 Fiat Panda 4x4 taking part in the Mongol Rally 2008. The Fiat will set off on the 19th July and will be fitted with the Fulda EcoControl tyres.

For the first time in three years, a foreign tire-maker may build a plant in Russia. The U.S. company Goodyear is considering a $200-250-million project in Yaroslavl Region to produce up to 5 million car tires a year.

The new Fulda EcoControl has been declared one of «Which?» Magazines Best Buy tyres, ranking in the top three in the Supermini tyre test.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company today announced that it will ask Polish tire company TC Debica – in which it is the majority shareholder – to nearly triple its commercial tire production for Goodyear from 1,700 to 5,000 tires per day.
