Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta
The Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta is the newest ace in the Ultra High Performance (UHP) segment. The Sessanta is based on the strong points of the Ultrac series and has been optimised even further to give very good steering and handling characteristics. Giugiaro Design has given the Ultrac Sessanta an innovative design, with a line pattern that clearly shows that performance comes first. The name Sessanta refers to the sixty years of Vredestein's existence in Enschede. In tribute to Vredestein's unique collaborative partnership with Giugiaro Design, "sixty" will be written in Italian: sessanta. Parametric design - from the drawing board to the shelf The Ultrac Sessanta is designed parametrically. This means that the tread construction, shape and contours are optimised for every size using mathematical formulae based on design parameters. For the last 6 years I have continually searched for the best gripping ulta high performance tire available. In my job I cover 75,000km/ year so I change tyres regularly. The Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta is an unbelievable tyre to drive on. It gives you great confinence in corners. Driving on a wet road is like driving on a dry raod. The cornering ability of the tire is immence with the added benifit of reduced braking distance which has saved me from crashing lots of times while avoiding stupid mistakes from other drivers. I couldn't recommend this tyre high enough. I get 15,000km on the front and 30,000Km from the rear. My car is front wheel drive with no ESP. i have never driven on snow with them so I don't know the level of grip on snow.
